4 Simple Things Narcissists Do To Be The Center Of Attention
Have you ever met a narcissist?
I bet you have, even if you don’t know it. Narcissists have an extreme sense of self-importance. They lack empathy, but need excessive admiration. They believe they are number one and people should admire them. They are also great manipulators. You may not recognize them until it’s too late.
Learn how to spot a narcissist to protect yourself and choose healthy relationships instead.
How To Spot A Narcissist
#1. Narcissists Blame Others
They will never admit that they were wrong, but get defensive instead. They will bring up your faults, question you and twist your words.
#2. Narcissists Interrupt
They don’t listen. They have to be the center of attention. They’ll refocus the conversation and feel compelled to talk about themselves and their exaggerated accomplishments.
#3. Narcissists Intimidate
They play the power game. They manipulate your feelings, try to confuse you into submission and giving in. They are competitive and don’t like to lose.
#4. Narcissists Play The Victim
They are manipulators that play the victim no matter what. They can be likable and charming to get your pity then take advantage of you. Remember, they will play the victim to hurt and use you.
These signs should help you to spot a narcissist and to protect yourself. Remember, a narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder. It is treatable, so if you know someone that needs help, urge them to see a mental health practitioner today.
