Before there were “blurred lines,” there was “sex therapy.”
Mmm Mmm, I love love LOVE a seductive and sexy Robin Thicke song… but not as much as I love a pure, passionate and intimate moment.

Sex is fun. It feels delightful. It can “take your mind off things” and it can also help you develop a deep connection with your partner.
As if that weren’t reason enough to do the deed, here are 4 reasons why intimacy is good for your health:
1. It Powers Up Your IMMUNE SYSTEM: Researchers at Wilkes University of Pennsylvania have discovered that students who were having sex 1-2 times per week had a remarkably higher level of the antibody hemoglobin A. Antibodies identify and neutralize foreign invaders in your body (bacteria, virus, toxins).
2. Better Bladder Control: If you are a woman and have orgasms, you strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. The same muscles are used when starting and stopping the flow of urine (practice those kegel exercises!).
3. Lowers Blood Pressure: Sex relaxes your system and soothes stressed and tense muscles. It also improves your stress response. As a result, having sex lowers your systolic (the top number) blood pressure.
4. Gives You Excellent Heart Health: “Sexercise” = sex exercise! Sex is a cardiovascular exercise and can burn up to 5 calories a minute due to an elevated heart rate. It can also keep your hormone levels even (testosterone and estrogen). Men who had sex once or more a week were half as likely to die of a heart attack than men who had none.
Go on.
Get naked.
And have oodles of sex to benefit your health!
Now share the love and send this article to your partner, friend, Channing Tatum… whoever you please.
