To make your mornings easier, learn to whip up these easy kid friendly smoothies. You can send your kids off to school with confidence knowing that they had a nutritious and energy-promoting breakfast!

Health Benefits Of Smoothies

Fruits
  • High levels of phytochemicals – naturally occurring nutrients that help protect cells from damage
  • Excellent antioxidant power, which protects your body from inflammation and free radicals
  • Loaded with fiber, which helps you feel fuller longer

  • Smoothie too thick? Add small amounts of water or coconut milk until your reach your desired consistency.

#1. Rise & Shine Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup carrots
  • ½ cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • ½ cup frozen mango chunks
  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp raw honey

 

Instructions: Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

#2. Banana Split Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • Handful of cacao nibs (to taste)

 

Instructions: Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

#3. Very Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 2 cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup coconut milk
    • Alternative: almond, soy, or rice milk

 

Instructions: Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
