10 Ways To Becoming A More Powerful You – Mindset Monday

I look out into the world today and I see a lot of manipulation. Big banks. Big pharma. Our educational system. There are a lot of things that get me frustrated because I feel they are clouding people’s vision of who they really are.

All these things are weakening humanity and individuals by undermining their worth and suffocating their passion and creativity.

There are things in our water and food that calcify the pineal gland (our connection to God and spirituality). Modern lifestyle is weakening our bodies so that we don’t feel good all the time. People are walking around not feeling fully alive.

When you don’t feel good… when you are going from day to day at much lower than 100%… you typically don’t make the best heart-based decisions. Instead, you make decisions out of survival mode.

How do we break free?

How do we become the ultimate, most powerful versions of who we are destined show up as in the world?

#1 Figure Out Your Why

“If your why doesn’t make you cry… then it’s not your why.” – Coach Hite

This could very possibly be the biggest determinant in whether you succeed or fall short. I actually believe it IS the biggest reason people don’t reach their goals… they forget WHY they are doing what they’re doing in the first place!

Why do you want to change? Do you have a concrete WHY? A why that makes you cry? Is it the kind of why that will be enough when the going gets tough? If not, then you need to dig deeper.

Your WHY should instill a mission inside your heart and soul that is bigger than you.

Think about yourself and your family. One of the reasons that I wanted to be healthy was so that I could be the vibrant husband and father I have always dreamed of. At the rate I was going years ago, I would have been sick and tired and unable to be the man I knew was inside at my core. Sound familiar?

#2 Take On The Challenge

“You will never know your limits unless you push yourself to them.” – Unknown

Don’t be shy about stepping up to challenges. LEAN INTO FEAR WITH CURIOSITY!

Instead of denying a challenge, step into it. In taking action and moving forward even when challenges are present, you gain tremendous personal power.

#3 Identify Yourself As An Action Taker

“Action is the foundational key to all success.” – Pablo Picasso

Something magical happens when you start to program your subconscious mind to believe that you ARE what you WANT to be.

Your subconscious makes up about 75% of your mind and is a HUGE player in all your decisions.

Your past… your memories… your subconscious beliefs about yourself… these all play a role in how you act from day to day. You can actually use this to your advantage by consciously programming your subconscious! This will determine whether or not you are able to materialize the life you really want.

How do you do it? Proclaim your intentions. Declare yourself as an action taker. Set your intentions every day. Speak your affirmations.

#4 Use Your Words Wisely

“Words transform. Speak only with a good purpose. Say only things that serve you and others. Choose your words wisely.” – Robert G. Allen

Words aren’t meant simply to communicate. They are meant to build. When you use powerful constructive language, people are going to notice a difference. If they are open, your words may even help them become who they are meant to be.

Use powerful, building, meaningful, integrity-driven words every day as a big part of your vocabulary. And notice how this not only enhances your own life, but the lives of those around you.

#5 Be Humble

“It was pride that changed angels into devils; it is humility that makes men as angels” – Saint Augustine

A precursor to humility is gratitude. Always remember where you’ve come from so you can live in a vibration of gratefulness.

When you’re feeling down, focus on everything you have. Focus on abundance. Even if the only thing you can think of to be grateful for is the sun in the sky or the clothes on your back… let your mind dwell on these things. When you are grateful you naturally focus on abundance, and the universe will only show you more.

Continue to see everything as if it’s the first time and the last time you’ll ever see it.

#6 Be Present

“The present moment is the only moment available to us, and it is the door to all moments.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

If you’re a dreamer like me, you are constantly living in your own mind and your visions and it keeps you from being fully present.

When you learn to come fully into the NOW, you release all anxiety and emotions of the past and any fears of the future. You will never be so powerful as you are when you are 100% in the present.

#7 Be Patient and Trust

“When things don’t happen right away, just remember: it takes 6 months to build a Rolls-Royce and 13 hours to build a toyota.” – Unknown

Know that everywhere you’ve been in your life, there’s been a reason!

Whatever you goal, dream and vision are – as long as you consistently move forward and practice patience in the moment – they will come true. Transformations don’t always happen overnight and dreams don’t always manifest in a day. Take life one step at a time, find joy in the journey and be patient.

#8 Be Generous

“The heart that gives, gathers.” – Tao Te Ching

This one is pretty simple. Don’t be stingy! Freely give of your time, gifts and resources so that others may benefit and your heart will grow strong. Of course, you should always make sure your needs are also being met. Everything in balance. And remember to give with a loving heart without expectations.

#9 Have A Vision

“Acting without vision is only passing time. Vision without action is merely day dreaming. Vision with action can change the world.” – Nelson Mandela

If you look forward in your life, what do you want to see? What do you want your friends to say about you in 10 years? What would a successful life be to you? Who are you in 20 years? 30 years? 70 years?

The journey is absolutely amazing. But it becomes even more amazing when you have a vision, a purpose and a pursuit that you can create and watch come to pass.

#10 Walk With Love

“Let’s create a revolution of love.” – Unknown

First and foremost, take a stand for who you are. Hold your head high and square your shoulders. Demonstrate what it means to have these elements of power that we’ve talked about today.

What does that look like for you?

When you walk down the street, EXUDE love.

Love is the power that is going to heal our world.

What Our Clients Say*

During my FitLife transformation, I lost 70 pounds! That's why I signed up for the protocol, but the most exciting result is that I found ME in the process. I had been hiding under a pile of pounds, self-doubt, and grief! FitLife changed my life and I knew I had to share it with others.

-Lynne, Longwood FL

I started with Fitlife back in 2011-2012…I wrote into Fitlife asking for an extreme amount of help. I was 300 pounds, with high cholesterol, and Drew helped me transform my life. I lost over 130 pounds and I no longer have high cholesterol. Not only did I lose weight, so did my husband, who lost over 70 pounds!
